We are North Dakota’s gateway to thousands of lakes just across the border in Minnesota. We share a lot in common with our neighbors, namely access to great fishing for many species of gamefish. “This way to the lake” is our welcoming motto. Before you go to the lake, though, come and see us at our location right next to Interstate 29.
The Fargo—Moorhead Area straddles the North Dakota and Minnesota borders. We are only about 45 minutes from lakes of all sizes in neighboring Minnesota. When you launch your boat in those lakes, you can expect to catch largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, crappie, bluegill, northern pike and musky. Many of those lakes also host tournaments for walleye and bass.
North Dakota offers many fine opportunities for boating and fishing as well. We are just over 2 hours away from the famous Devils Lake, where anglers leave with many great fishing memories and unforgettable experiences. If perch is your fish of choice, there are numerous smaller bodies of water around Closer to home, and flowing through our hometown, is the famed Red River.
